Brogan Conley was born and raised in Sussex County, Delaware and currently resides in Harbeson. He attended elementary and secondary school here, graduating from Cape Henlopen High School in 2022.
As a student at Cape Henlopen High School, Brogan participated in the Junior ROTC program, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and a willingness to volunteer his time and talents to the community. He graduated as the Battalion Sergeant Major and was recognized with several awards, including: American Legion Bronze Medal of Merit, AMVETS Leadership/Citizenship Medal, Association of the US Army Medal, and the American Legion Community Service Award.
Brogan has given back to the community through his volunteer work at the Fort Miles Historical Association. And while in school, Brogan won an award from Beebe Healthcare for a photo that he took called “Sunrise at Herring Point”. His artwork is on display at Beebe Hospital as a part of the “Art Contributing to Healing” program.
Currently, Brogan is enrolled in Delaware Technical Community College’s Aviation Maintenance Technology Associate degree program. He plans to sit the FAA certification exams to earn an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
Francine, Brogan’s mother, introduced him to the Delaware Aviation Museum’s Panchito B-25 when he was still in middle school. The Museum volunteers gave him a wrench and showed him how to help maintain a piece of WW II history. He has gained many hours of valuable experience helping maintain flying aircraft at the museum.
His volunteer efforts at the Museum complement his studies at Del Tech. Brogan is a valued member of the Delaware Aviation Museum.
