Jeff Chorman- graduated from Cape Henlopen High School and attended Embry-Riddle University before joining the family Aerial Application Business located in Southern Delaware. Jeff Has over 32,000 hours of flight time over the Delmarva Peninsula. He owns Chorman Spraying which operates 23 aircraft, four airports, and has 50 employees. When Jeff is not flying, he is widely known for his community involvement, most notably serving on the Delaware Aviation Advisory Council, the Delaware Pesticide Advisory Board, and holding leadership roles in both the National and Delaware Agricultural Aviation Associations for the past 20 years.
John Chirtea- graduated from Miami University in 1955. He started flying in 1958. John has been actively involved in all aspects of growing the aviation community is Sussex County. He is the President of the Eagle Crest HOA, a Key Man for the Quiet Birdman, Vice President of EAA Chapter 1683, an AOPA Advocate, Delaware Representative for the United Flying OctoGenarians, and FAA Master Pilot.
Luna Isaac Mishoe- (1917-1989) Dr. Luna Isaac Mishoe graduated from Allen University in 1938 with a BA in Chemistry. In 1942, he joined the US Army Air Force. During the war, Luna served as Group Photographic Intelligence Officer with the Tuskegee Airmen while serving in the 477th Composite Group. Post War, Luna became the President of Delaware State College, overseeing the increase of the student body size from 386 to 2327 over his tenure.
Jessica Stephenson- is a 2006 graduate of A.I. Dupont High school and a 2010 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Jessica flew the AH-64D Apache during her Army career, where she logged over 400 combat hours over Afghanistan and earned three Air Medals and the Combat Action Badge. Her military service as a distinguished Delaware Army Aviator was memorialized on the “Women in Military Service Monument” in front of Legislative Hall in Dover, Delaware, where it still stands today. Since retiring from the military, Jessica attended Harvard Business School where she earned an MBA and she has transitioned to a civilian career with a major financial institution and also participates in numerous disabled veteran events, programs, and charities.
Michael Hales- began his 25 year military career in 1987 as an Army Aviation Officer which included assignments in Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Colombia. His Civilian career led Michael to Delaware where he became the Director of Aviation for Delaware State University. Michael helped to revive the aviation program at DSU. He oversaw the purchase of 15 new aircraft, tripled the number of enrolled students, and facilitated numerous airline partnership agreements to further students' post graduate careers. Michael is currently the CEO of the United Aviate Academy
