Sharon Forbes is the Supervisor of Scheduling Operations and Facility Manager for DuPont Aviation, a corporate flight department where she oversees the global scheduling for corporate jets. Conoco/DuPont recruited her to preposition crew and corporate jets.
Sharon's aviation career began as an international flight attendant for Capitol Airways. At that time DuPont operated 13 fixed wing aircraft and an S-76 helicopter. Sharon began affiliation with the National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) to initiate what is now a full standing NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee.
Sharon's current job responsibilities at DuPont Aviation include functioning as the primary aviation contact for DuPont's Office of the Chairman, Customer Service Liaison, DuPont Aviation Facility/Security Manager, and Webmaster of the DuPont Aviation intranet website.
As a founder of S & D, she networked with aviation departments all over America. She has contributed to many aspects of Delaware aviation, from working with the Delaware River and Bay Association to working on the Delaware Aviation Hall of Fame board.
